Dorset Natural Health Clinic History

Dr Milo Siewert MD DC MACH ND was born in the USA, he qualified as a chiropractor in 1956 and as a doctor in 1978.

He re-introduced Colonic Hydrotherapy to the UK in 1983 and started the Colonic International Association in 1987. (C.I.A.)

Now this is known as A.R.CH. Association and Register of Colon Hydrotherapists.  Dr Siewert is the honorary  president of this association.

He has practiced Natural Medicine for the past 50 years, and now works  as a registered Naturopath.  He has served on the board of the General Naturopathic Council and General Register and Council of Naturopathy.

Dr Siewert uses naturopathic treatments such as herbs, nutrition and colonic hydrotherapy to treat a varied selection of illnesses.

These illness can range from the effects of  stress, constipation, ME, IBS, bloating, Candida, haemorrhoids, lazy colon, diverticulitis, flatulence, skin conditions amongst others.  Patients who are suffering lack of energy can find that colonic hydrotherapy helps this situation.

The hectic lifestyle that is prevelant today creates a great deal of problems in  this area of the body.  Meals that are eaten too quickly, fast food, lack of exercise and low water intake all create problems in the colon and a build-up of toxins.

Colonic hydrotherapy removes the toxins that create most of the problems above and exercises the colon to increase peristalsis.  The therapy works on the whole person to increase the innate life force in each patient.

He practices in London, Southampton and Poole with clinics throughout the week.  The regular clinic hours are between 10.00am and 6.00pm.  Later appointments can be arranged if necessary.
